Facilities

The B&B Research Group have two premier facilities designed to support cutting-edge research and innovation: the Biorefinery Complex and the Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory at Biotech 3.

1) Biorefinery Complex:

• Operational Since: January 2014
• Location: Near the University Agricultural Park (TPU) and UPM golf course
• Area: Approximately 1075 m²
• Facilities:
  • Pilot Plant: Designed for pilot-scale biomass conversion and biorefinery processes.
  • Biomass Technology Laboratory (BTL): Equipped with state-of-the-art instruments for comprehensive biomass research and analysis.

 

2) Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory at Biotech 3:

• Specializes in research related to biopolymers, biomaterials, biochemicals, genetics, and molecular biology.

 

Together, these facilities provide an ideal environment for pioneering research in biomass and environmental biotechnology, fostering innovation and scientific advancement.
