MALAYSIAN BIOFUEL INDUSTRY (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2024

The Malaysian Biofuel Industry (Exemption) Order 2024, effective from May 15, 2024, grants exemptions to researchers at higher education and research institutions in Malaysia from certain requirements of the Malaysian Biofuel Industry Act 2007 (Act 666). The exemption applies to activities related to biofuels, provided they are solely for research purposes and the quantity of biofuel used does not exceed 200 liters. This order aims to support research and development in the biofuel sector in Malaysia.
